Question about experience with an eagle that appeared when scattering the ashes of my mother at the lake...?
The eagle appeared twice. First time directly after mother died at the lake house. I was down on the dock and it flew down on a very low branch in my direct eyesight and sat looking at me. I was thinking about my mom at the time. The second time was the day we prepared to scatter her ashes at the lake. The eagle flew down low and landed on top of the boat house and stared at me. He stayed and watched while we scattered her ashes and didn't leave until we left. I have not been able to get this eagle off of my mind. Is there any folklore, or spiritual Native American belief that would come to mind?

The Eagle was there to provide support, to provide blessings for you. It is an honor that this happened. Know that you were doing the right thing, that you are not alone, that your mother is well.
