Center Console
How do I take apart the center console in a 1999 Saturn SL?
I'm not talking about the console where the radio is. I'm talking about the area between the driver's seat and passenger's seat.
Just open the lid, in the bottom should be a few screws or bolts. I am sure there are some under plastic hidden plates around the shifter and all as well. Without seeing it first hand its hard to say.
Just open the lid, look in the bottom, remove those screws. Try to pull up. If not, keep looking for more screws. Might be 2 on the back side where the back seat passengers might see. Could be a few around the shifter and even a few up where it connects to dash where ashtray/radio start.
Just take your time... if you have to pull hard... you missed a screw somewhere.

A normail one would be about 230bhp, but drift one's seem to be very powerful, so im guessin' about 500bhp?
Assuming you’re in the US, look at the Miranda Warning. “Anything you say can and will be used **against** you in a court of law.” There is not a damn thing you can say to the cops to help your case. There are so many laws on the books that if they want to arrest you for something, they will. Keeping your yap shut means you haven’t self-incriminated yourself and violated some obscure law. Yeah, it may annoy the cops, but really, it’s safer. If they suspect you have drugs, but don’t have REASONABLE suspicion, they can’t just hold you on the side of the road for a drug dog to sniff around to gain reasonable suspicion, anymore than they can just search your car and claim they “saw’ the drugs you had stashed in the center console. Even if you get arrested, if they didn’t have reasonable suspicion, provided you didn’t incriminate yourself in some manner, a decent lawyer should be able to get it tossed out. Cops will probably watch you after that, and harass you, but that’s a completely different (and potentially profitable) lawsuit waiting to happen. Hell, even the cops tell you not to talk to them.
