Product Description

At a remote hospital in Alaska, Dr. Markus Vaughn and his partner Valerie Blaylock work in a non-political environment, working only to heal and affect lives in a positive manner. When the facility unexpectedly closes they are forced to return to Concordia Medical Institute, where politics are more important than patients lives, and doctors more concerned with image than their ministration. They are recruited into the government organization Caduceus, where they will learn of a conspiracy with dire ramifications, and their lives will be changed forever.

The game itself is challenging and very enjoyable, with a good variety in levels and tons of replayability for those trying to beat their previous scores.

The addition of multiplayer is a huge improvement. My wife and I have spent an afternoon running through the whole story, and it's great for building teamwork (provided you keep a good attitude throughout!).

The controls can be finicky at first, and suturing is hilariously off. The game also takes itself very seriously, which also turns out to be hilarious given how off-the-wall and corny the story actually is.

I'd recommend it if you got your hands on a Wii or Wii U and are looking for fun on the cheap!

Another in the trauma center series of video games I need to say right at the outset I haven't finished it yet what I have played continues the Excellence of the series once again you play a doctor a surgeon he needs to complete these operations not only accurately but within a set amount of time it's good strong gameplay the story is a little left to be desired but it is a video game after all so you don't expect oscar-worthy performances or writing. This game has got very strong replay value after you've successfully finished the surgery you're giving a score and then a grade and most of the surgeries you can choose between one of two doctors to conduct the surgery with so you're going to want to go back nolita best your high score and grade but to see if you can do better using the other doctor that you didn't use the first time of course as you go along the game and get a handle on all of the tools you need that makes the earlier missions easier to do and hopefully will result in a better score basically practice makes perfect I can't wait to buy another one of the games in the series highly recommend this

One of the things that made the original Trauma Center so much fun is that it's a fantastically goofy story centered around terrorist Catholic viruses, and yet the game takes itself so seriously. The grand tradition is continued in New Blood, though with improvements.

The sometimes jarringly inappropriate music and conversation combinations (like discussing the impending death of a little sister while bouncy elevator music plays) have taken their leave. The soundtrack is used effectively to set the mood and doesn't overpower what's going on, which is nice. While the first 'Stigma' you encounter is a straight rehash of the first GUILT, all the others have new forms and require different methods to defeat them. Plus we have entirely new stages, like brain surgery, to keep the regular levels interesting.

The characters are also likable and they don't get irritating, as was sometimes the case with Angie. Our main character does spend most of the game in an emo haze for blindingly obvious reasons which we're supposed to be surprised about at the big reveal, but again, since this goofy game takes itself so seriously the emo only reaches eyeroll levels, nothing annoying.

All in all a fun game to play and make fun of while doing so.

I bought this to use as a therapeutic aid for someone with impaired coordination in a hand and arm due to a stroke. It's a fun game to play all by itself and has made a decided difference in the person's ability to control their extremity.

This game was fun and enjoyable a first, but after you get further into it, An unnecessary Satanic Theme gets injected into the play. The player then has to draw pentagrams (with wii remote) on the patients in order to give the patients a better change at survival. Of course like I stated before it is completely unnecessary, and it was at that point that I turned it off. So if you want your child to spend hours drawing pentagrams, while trying to perfect the art of drawing pentagrams, then this game is for you. Had it not been for the Satanic theme being sneaked in. I would have easily given it 4 stars, but I find attempts to warp the minds of the young, extremely offensive.

I had some high hopes for this game but it turned out to be just alright. I'm studying to be a nurse so I might have had more interest in it than an average person. Overall the gameplay is very simple and straight-foward. You fix up patients based on their condition within the time limit. The ticking clock adds a bit excitement to the game but only if you're messing up and don't know what you're doing. After 1 failed surgery and the tutorials I learned everything just fine. My grade was average though so I guess there is some replay value in this if you want to earn a perfect score. The scoring on movements was too lenient & unrealistic, and it's very easy to earn "Cool". You can just stitch up someone criss-cross all over the place and pass no problem.

I've played a couple other Hospital/doctor theme games on the PC and they were much more fun than this. Look up Operation Mania or Theme Hospital for the PC if you're interested.

This is the first time I play a Trauma Center game and so far I like it. Personnaly, I would've liked a more gory game, but I understand that they wanted to make something that felt reasonnable and professional.

I think that the only major problem with Trauma is that there is a lot of reading to do. Some of it could've been avoided by FMV's. Instead of that there are boring static images. However, the gameplay is simple, easy to learn and entertaining. That's what matters the most.
