what kind of sail boat do I need?
I am saving for retirement. My wife and I want to sail around the world, making many stops. We will be taking many sailing lessons first, and performing all the preparations needed with rigging, training, and much more. My question is, What boat do I need to save for? I want to be able to store a Harley on it for when we get to port, and a jet ski. Any suggestions?
Honestly, you can sail around the world in a wide number of boats, my grandparents being the prime example after having circumnavigated three times in a Westsail 32. Chances are you will have to save a decent amount, but you don't necessarily have to buy the most expensive boat on the market. As for what you want to bring with you, if you are actually planning to sail, I can't guarantee that you will find many sailboats with that type of storage space...
