Beginner on the Liquid Force Trip?
I'm 14 years old. I've been snowboarding every weekend for 5 years and love doing it. My family recently bought a boat and we decided we want a wakeboard. I'm the only one who has never been wakeboarding. They say it's a lot like snowboarding so I'm relieved. We just ordered a Liquid Force Trip, size 142, Medium-Large boot/bindings. I'm about 110 pounds and I know this board is way too big for me. Will it be too hard for me to use? I know it gets difficult to use a snowboard that's too big.
since you've never done it the bigger board will just make getting up and learning a little easier because you'll have more board surface underneath you and it will float your little body easier. Once you learn you'll want to get a board more suited for you. Once you get a proper size for you it will be like going from an SUV to a sports car and you'll be able to maneuver it easily. I started out on my husbands board and its a 144 and i needed a 132-34. Now that i have my own it's soo much better but learning with the bigger board didn't slow me down until I wanted to get air and do tricks.
