southern ski boats
Trying to find a new town to move to
My husband and I are living in southern California right now and we are trying to find a new place to move. Right now we live in a small mountain town and we hate it. We both grew up here and just need a change. Were trying to find a place that has a lot of activity. We are really into dirtbike riding and going to lakes to jet ski and use our boat. If you know of any great towns that are near some good lakes or dirtbike tracks, I'd love to check them out. Thanks in advance.
If you want to really change, I'd say move east. Asheville, NC or Chattanooga, TN. Both are hot "up and coming" small cities with progressive populations and a major outdoorsy lifestyle. Finding jobs shouldn't be an issue in either. Asheville especially has a lot going on, culturally and recreation-wise. The cost of living in both cities is probably far below what you're used to. Check them out, and good luck!
* I left out...just outside of Asheville is Lake Lure...beautiful mountain lake which is great for boating/jet-skiing!
