Is there something to keep my ipod from being scratched?
Is there some type of chemical or something to clean my ipod's scrathes to go away that the apple company recommends and sometimes i get scared is it normal to scratch your ipod cause when i put it in the sun and move it around i see scratches and when i put it in the shade you dont see them. Please tell me where can i find it and something that the company reccomands and you too. Please!!!!!!
I had the same problem about a month ago. I'm on ski team and my phone dropped off while i was racing. I found the phone, but it was covered with scratches, even though its been in a case since the second I bought it. Meanwhile my iPod was a mess, so I wanted something to treat both. Apple recommends iClense, and I heard a lot about this Ice Creme stuff, but I did my research and neither of them are approved for the back of the iPod. What's the point of that? So while I was looking, I came upon a webpage that said Brasso Multipurpose Metal Cleaner, in combination with Apple recommended iKlear. I thought, hey, why not try it? So i bought a bottle of Brasso http://www.amazon.com/Brasso-Multi-Purpose-Metal-Polish-oz/dp/B0006M4ZF8
and gave it a go. NO JOKE the scratches were gone. I'd highly recommend it to anyone. Plus, Brasso is 4 bucks. What can beat that? iKlear is a bit more pricey at $19.95. It doesn't remove the scratches but it gives the iPod a good polish.

One bottle of the travel size iKlear and one bottle of Brasso have gotten me through 5 cleans including my computer and phone. A little goes a long way.

Oh and I found this case that keeps scratches off the iPod. It's called Otterbox... not so good looking, so I haven't gotten one.
Oh and applesauce doesn't work on phones... but i heard its good for ipods!
