how do i start fishing bass touments in geogia im a begginer?
i got a boat and rod and reels and my boat is a bass boat with a 115 johoson boat is 15, 6 long and how do i find the tourments

The easiest and cheapest way to enter into the world of tournament bass fishing is through a club or "workin' man" tournament. Club tournaments are usually cheap- $50-$60 entry and will generally be held on lakes and river systems NEAR you. (Having tournaments near you is very important for "Pre-fishing" opportunities and to save you money on traveling expenses.)
Hopefully, the club that is near you is B.A.S.S./FLW affiliated. Why? If you fall in love with Tournament fishing and want to move up into larger competition, a B.A.S.S. affiliated club can help you.
Understand something- When you join a club, you'll be fishing against other club members who have YEARS in on the local tournament lakes. It won't be easy to win against these people. They'll know all the most important lures and color's of lures for any given lake, they'll know all the good offshore structure, where the Bass migrate during the seasons, Etc.
For this reason, I suggest you enter the club as a NON-boater, (at least the first couple tourneys). You'll learn more about the local lakes/rivers and basic tournament fishing in the "backseat" than you will setting off on your own. Plus, it's important to go as a non-boater a couple times to see if it's the club that YOU want to join. (You want to make sure the guys you'll be fishing with are "cool".)

If it a true boat show, where's SEARAY, BAYLINER, BASS FISHING BOATS', PONTOON BOATS', fresh water boats' are boat too and come in all sizes. If they are not represented that's
just almost the start to the end of the middle class as we know it.
