saltwater boats
Why is it that when i ride on my boat out in the bay or in any saltwater that my right eye all ways waters up?
I can understand if it is just the saltwater bothering my eye but it is only my right eye so if you could please give me an answer before I actually go and get it checked out i would be much obliged.
You probably have borderline dry eye syndrome. The combination of salt and wind push you into full on dry eye. Surprisingly, the most common symptom of dry eyes, besides discomfort, is excessive watering. Tear chemistry is complicated and there is a watery component, a mucus component and a fatty component along with electrolytes and enzymes that work together to build a stable tear film. Any part sufficiently out of whack and the whole house comes tumbling down.
