party barge pontoon boats
Can a 40hp push a 24 ft. pontoon/partybarge?
I was wondering..isn't that kinda small??? A 40hp outboard (its from around the early 90's) is pushing a 24ft pontoon boat (AKA a party barge) and its a boat we want to buy..wouldnt it be a good idea to upgrade in a couple of years if we want it hitting enough to give tube riding a thrill, at least for the kids...any advice?
Yeah, it will push it.
Our 24 ft. pontoon has a 70, and it is more than enough. A fifty would be perfect.
Our's is rated for a 90.
