What is the best sub-100' boat to circumnavigate the world?
I've always talked about taking a boat around the world. I'd like to start doing more research on the subject. Does anyone know good websites or books that talk about how someone might do this? As a good starting point, I'd like to understand what boats might be best for this adventure. Big enough for my family & a captain. & hopefully some friends to visit. yet not insanely big, as i don't have the pocket $$s to manage a Larry Elison type rig. I also like the idea of a "hybrid" boat that could sale with good wind or motor when none.
Here are a few good sites to get you started. At sailnet.com you can begin to make contacts with other cruisers and learn a great deal from the experience of others. Also look for books about the cruising lifestyle. Second hand book stores in areas where there are marinas will often have some, and also check the book section at West Marine stores. Get to know your local marinas and begin to ask questions and notice things there. Best of luck with your plans. Living aboard is a great life.

Boat trailer title help?
I bought a boat with trailer and motor a month ago. I really bought the whole deal because of the motor. I now want to sell the boat and trailer but keep the motor. The problem is that I only have a title for the boat and the guy that I bought all 3 items from will not supply me a bill of sale for the trailer for I don't know what reason.
My main question is:
How can I get a title for the trailer with out the sellers help or am I running into a dead end?
Any suggestion is really appreciated. Thanks
go to a license office and they will direct you to someone who can look at the trailer get the information and make a new title for you ,

thanks for sharing this information with us. I am almost sure there are ships, motor boats, yachts or similar cruises to Los Roques from either Caracas or the ABC islands. For example here is this other company I found on the website of Los Roques. It is called Aereotuy and apparently besides their shitty old plane (sorry about it) they apparently offer boat trips as well.
But I will search for other companies later today. I recommend you to take one of these once you'll return.
