Of course it still shows on your report as a judgment. That's what it is, and you still owe on it.

I bought a Nissan 300ZX and got tired of the payments afer 6 months and turned it over to a 3rd party leasing company. They leased it out and all well for a year. The 3rd party leasing company went out of business and the person that had the car stop paying the payments. I had to have the bank REPO the car (it was trashed) and then auction it off which left me with a balance of $3500. I had to get a loan that my Grandmother had to co-sign because my credit was trashed. I paid off the loan, got my credit back in order over time and I really learned to live within my means after going through that “life's lesson”
