I live in Virginia Beach and I want to know how much a Jon (John?) Boat costs? New and used....Does it take alot of maintenance?
He really loves to fish and I want to surprise him with his very own boat!

Jon Boat Fishing Trip (10/10/09)
Speed of 10' jon boat with 3hp outboard?
I have a 3hp Gamefisher outboard in almost new condition. I'm looking to get a 10' jon boat for cruising around the lake and doing some fishing. It's rated for max. 3hp.
How fast do you think it should move me plus some gear. (total 175 lbs.) The boat itself weighs 80 lbs.
I had a 3 hp on a 12 ft, you go about 5 miles an hour.

Uh you need alot of empty space in your head to believe fishing boats growing a big enough balls to ram into coastal guard ships.
Oh, she also said some of the people who did cleanup there have only 4.7% of their lung capacity. And people have seen fishing boats working side by side where they are still doing oil cleanup and where the fishermen were told it's now safe to fish. And there is still oil coming into LA marshes. Also read oxygen-depleted air is coming out of the wellpit.
