Insurance for Jet Skis?
Im looking into buying a used jet ski. Can someone explain to me the insurance for a jet ski in general. What does it cost? What will it cover? Is it worth it. Who insures them.

Check with the insurance agent that has your home or auto insurance. If you don't have an agent, you can check with Progressive Insurance or GEICO Insurance. Both sell insurance for jet skis.

What is a romantic vacation I can take in January?
My boyfriend usually pays for everything but I said I will cover this trip. My budget is around $1500 and I want that to cover airfare, hotel, and activities.
So, where should I go for a 2-3 day vacation in January?
I am 24 and from Phoenix, AZ. I want to go somewhere warm and with water. We both love hiking, swimming, snorkeling, jet-skiing... He does not want to get a passport and we go to San Diego all the time.
I think youll need to go further south than the USA to get warm water in January, otherwise it's wetsuits all round (even in the Florida Keys). Not very romantic! And the southern hemisphere, where you'd need to be not to wear one, would cost more than your budget, and take a long day travelling each way.
I think you'd be better off doing a city break in January - St Pete, FL? - then going somewhere in the Caribbean in the early summer.

Jet-Ski. Thought those was banned in Sweden? If you want to go surfing around Cliffs of Moher you need one of those. Because of the cliffs it's impossible to get to where the good waves are, so instead the surfers tag on to some-one with a Jet-Ski who tows them to the waves (I happend to know this because we have a driver here who go there to surf. November is said to be the best month! 50 ft waves not unusual.).

I know the recipe for a Jet Ski Jolt. I'm not sure if this is what you're looking for but….
1 1/2 oz vodka
1 1/2 oz coconut flavored rum
1 1/2 oz grenadine syrup
4 oz pineapple-orange-banana juice
Fill tall glass with ice. Pour vodka and remaining ingredients. Add an umbrella as garnish and enjoy!
NO this is called “unstable” in rocketry a rocket is only stable if the center of gravity is in front of the center of pressure.if they are “CLOSE” we call this “neutrally stable” ie things get interesting.they had the car too far back. IE negative tongue weight. the trailer was literally “unstable” like a rocket that is unstable.the center of pressure is the point between the two tire patch points (because it has two axles). the center of gravity is the same as on the rocket. where the MASS balances.I had this happen once once towing a jet ski (no engine) on a flat trailer on my geo metro. I could not slide it forward any further.above 45mph it became unstable JUST like in the video. So I just took it easy at 40mph.the solution is counter intuitive. you have to hit the gas. PULL the trailer straight again. hitting the brakes just makes it works. once you have it stabilized slow down immediately.ideally you catch it EARLY and hit the brakes HARD to get it below “jack knife” speed.if possible TURN. engage a long gentle arc this will use centrifugal force to “dull” the oscillation from the trailer. (NOT a sharp turn or you will just do what he did made worse by the HIGH center of gravity of the combo) Once the oscillations get BIG like his did its too late to try this.you are NOT likely going to be fast enough to “correct” with steering especially since you are a double pivot point.if your neutrally stable and you can not “move” the load then you need to ADD MASS. take the spare tire out of your car and strap it to the neck of the trailer. this should be enough to move your CG/CP relationship to “stable” and GO SLOW.the truly correct way to NIP this in the butt especially with a large trailer (besides LOADING it properly) ? trailer brakes. install them have a switch for them.if it goes unstable DO NOT change anything in your car just ENGAGE the trailer brakes. this will stabilize the trailer immediately (by braking you DRAG the trailer straight AND braking the trailer shifts the CG arc forward slightly) returning stability to the trailer.STOP and ADD MASS to the neck of the trailer.In this video I do not think I could have avoided the accident. it happened REALLY fast not much time to react and correct. CG was too far back and too high and the instability came on REALLY fast.it looks to me like they could have moved that car 6+ inches forward on that trailer. would have made all the difference in the world.many times trailers neutrally stable like this will tow FINE until conditions changes such as a light CROSS WIND which will shift the AERO CP back some maybe just enough to caused the trailer CP/CG to rear its ugly head and well you see the result.this is why most “pop up” campers are VERY tongue heavy. they are short coupled and towed by “regular” people so they make them OVER STABLE to avoid this. especially since they have no idea where people are going to “pack” gear inside.
