Navy Launch SNAFU (wooden boat)?
This is a question about a specific type of boat that used to be used by the NAVY.
Until I was 10 our family lived on a boat. It was a Navy launch named SNAFU which had been converted to a houseboat. Here is a picture of it:
I would love to learn more about this type of boat and how/when it was used by the Navy.
And, of course, I'd love to know what happened to the SNAFU after we lived there, or hear any stories from people who traveled on it before we owned it.

It looks like it used to be an MSC (Coastal Minesweeper).
Sorry got no info on what happened to it, but someone had one heck of a sense of humor when they named it. LOL
