How much should a 15' fishing boat cost that has no engine, it's wood, has a drivers pit and two tall seats?
It has a tall seat in the front and the back, to fish out of. It is in pretty good condition but has no engine. How much should I pay for this boat?

How can I get a job on a commercial fishing boat?
I live on the west coast and have been trying to get a job on a commercial fishing boat for quite a while with no luck. I never worked on one before but I put on my job resume that I have faithfully watched every episode of "The Deadliest Catch" but that doesn't seem to mean much to the fisherman.
Did you actually put that on your Resume? & the REASON they didn't hire you is because you WATCHED T.V. and saw that... you didn't actually do what you saw on T.V., so your inexperience told them right away not to hire you , IF you want to go to work ( and its HARD work) on a fishing boat, cut out the part where you watched T.V. and put in willing to learn & a hard worker , I hope this helps & good luck on finding you a fishing boat job... OH and by the way be ready to show up & leave on the boat ready to WORK and be willing to LEARN first hand, instead of watching T.V.also you might want to think about this... when a fishing boat leaves port to go out for a catch , you might be out on the sea for months at a time till your hold is full of your catch

Good Article on Bait Boats, what I find interesting is the other type of boats for just fishing. They drive your line out and you either use the boat to pull in the fish, or a line release. Thre're refered to as Remote Control Fishing Boats, for RC Fishing. One other thing is price, the RC Fishing Boats cost about a third of what a Bait Boat costs. Another thing out there is a RC Fishing Pole, it attachs to any r/c boat, and turns it into a r/c boat you can go fishing with. Here's where I read about them.

- She has internet access in the MIDDLE OF THE BERING SEA.
- She writes probably my new favorite, interesting blog (thanks facebook) that had better be updated like everyday.
