family ski boats
What kind of dog should we get?
We are a young very active, outdoorsy family with a 3 year old little girl. We go camping and ski boating alot. We would like to take a dog with us. I go to school in the mornings this semester and work 3rd shift however, my husband would be home at night. So really the dog would only be home alone in the mornings and if I have any errands to run in the afternoon. I really just want a mellow dog that's along for the ride. I hate it when dogs jump all over me or my company. What do you think the best breed would be for us?
Labs tend to be great animals for outdoor activities, are fun and friendly with kids. But if you want one that is a little bit more tame we've had a great cocker spaniel. She wasnt "play with me" "play with me" play with me" as labs tend to be. She was a bit more independent but still loved to be involved with the kids and camping stuff. Best of Luck!
