chris craft boats
chris Craft boat sometimes will not go into forward gear after running the motor for a while?
It will always shift into reverse. If I sit for a while say thirty minutes. It will shift into the forward gear. It only does this occasionaly
There is adjustments on the shift linkage. Probably nothing more than this, happened with my 350mercruiser. Assuming it's an I/O, the next time it does this just manually move the shift mechanism at the top and back of the engine, and if it pops into gear then you know it just needs adjustment or a possible shifter cable replacement.

Chris Craft 427 Compression. I am looking at a boat with 6 cyl at 150 and 2 at 130. Will it fail soon?
The 150 is a good value, 130 is a little low, and about 5 psi less than it should be at 130.
Could be rings, try some diesel fuel in the cylinders, spin it a few times and give it a try if it increases then it is ring build up. Add some sea foam to your oil and run it 10 to 20 hours to get the rings loosened up, then change your oil.
If it does not, put a vacuum gauge on the intake manifold and watch for a jitter in the vacuum. If it does, it means that you have burned valves.
To start, I would try working at the rings doing your best to spray the diesel around for best flushing of the rings, if its valves, you will have to remove them and fix it.

Most of those names are way common…aside from chicks ahoy…and the rest are kinda lame…Aquaholic is the best but i see boats everyday with that name…i work at several marinas so i know. If originality isnt an issue go with aquaholic…soak n fused is ok too.
Another wood cutter was going with his axe on his shoulder. When the Sun became very hot he felt thirst and hunger. He entered the nearest house and asked if they have some axe-soup. They became curious and invited him inside and asked him the procedure. He cleaned his axe and put in a vessel, poured some water, kept the fire, and asked one by one, an onion, some vegetables, and so on and last some masala. The house lady provided all and the woodcutter served them happily with his axe soup. When he started, he took the axe from the vessel, cleaned it and took by saying 'I need this for another soup tomorrow. All were happy and wood cutter left .
