What is the most reliable boat out there ..( bowrider)?
I am looking to buy a used boat but I am trying to find out what is what manufacture of boats has the best reputation..As TOyota and Honda have the reputation in the auto industry what Manufacutre of boats has the most reliable reputation ont he water ..jf
That is an easy one. Yamaha Jet boats.
Check out this site (All owners of yamaha boats) discussing their problems (all minor for the most part) but as far as reliability / durability, easy and very little maintenance, it wins hands down. Did I mention the price is like 20-30K less than an equivalent boat in mastercraft or tige. If you have the money, Mastercraft is also well known. The question is what do you want to do with your boat? The Yamaha is a good all around do everything boat. For wakeboarding, it works, but you do not get a huge wake (not that you need one). You get a foot to 18 inc wake. They do have a new model the 212X (made for wakeboarding). I have a 230sx. Lots of storage room, lots of room period. very good on gas. Did I mention it goes 50 mph as well, and is good for salt water as well.
