aluminum boat design
Redoing a boat military/army style???? help?
I am redoing my small aluminum 12 foot boat and i would like to do it so it looks like an army or military style boat. like the army green color etc. But i cannot find a good picture or any plans to go off of so I am kind of winging it and i need some pictures or help on what to do to the boat. I have already stripped the paint and stuff so its ready to be painted and designed. Please help me!!
the best camo style paint jobs i have ever seen were all hand done. no taping things off, no patterns or plans to follow. just an artistic eye and a good hand.
start with your lightest color and do a full base paint. once that has competely cured and is ready to sprayed on, start spraying with your next ligthest color. keep giving the colors time to dry and cure and be ready for the next color, as you will always be overlapping randomly, and keep moving from lightest to darkest until its all done.
when finished, a good clear coat will help seal it and keep it scratch free.
