Boat question: which boat retaines its value more, '90 Chaparral 2550 SX or '90 Four Winns 195 Freedom?
which one should i get if these were the two i liked (and could afford)
1990 Chaparral 2550 SX - Volvo penta Stainless DuoProp decent condition
or
1990 Four Winns 195 Freedom - OMC Cobra (plastic?) prop, ok condition, some fixing, much cheapper
any info about either boat would be great (10 points great)

The Chaparral/Volvo combo is the better buy.I have had problems with OMC products.The stainless prop is the only way to go also, don't waste your time with plastic or aluminum props.They are easily damaged. I don't know what type of boating you are going to be doing (skiing,fishing or pleasure riding)but i woul much rather have a '25 boat than a '19.5.Hope this helps.

How much is a 2002 four winns?
I am goin to buy a 2002 four winns with 225hp. not sure wat type of model and i think it comes with trailer. they say perfect condition only about 50 hrs on it. ideal boat and i know the guy who did the mantinence an he said it is the best boat and never any problems and hardly used. the women wants 15 grand but we might be able to get it for 13.5 (MAYBE) do you think this is a goo boat? Is four winns a good company? Is this a good price? Would you buy this? Please give me a straight up answer!! Thanks
