white boats
Does anyone know what the large white object sitting in the water off Nice, France is? Is it to tie boats to?
It's fairly long and pokes out of the water in a straight line. I've just seen pictures of it and cannot figure out what it is. Thanks!

If so it is the jetty with a light house at the end of it. Jetties are built to deviate or tame currents so as to facilitate ships' access to the shore. They can also be used as boarding piers, to load and unload ships, to tie boats... I don't know how it is used in Nice specifically.

Ok man, we all know people can ask things like this and i have been those people before. Even though you might be a little more advanced that them, doesnt mean theyre stupid. Just calm down already, its just a damn question. You shouldnt get mad at stupid stuff like this. Lets say they purposly tried to be rude or w/e, then you could be rude back….But if they were not purposly rude to you, then hold back on your rude reaction or w/e. I think that since youve been working at your job for so long, you got sick of it. Try your best to find another right now and dont be rude to other people for now. It really sets people off. I mean, once i went into a store and bought an item. I payed with part cash and a couple dollars in change and the guy was totally counting it with attitude. Its like calm the f*** down, some people out there with jobs that involve running after robbers with guns or janitors who clean up after the sh!t smeared on the floor, and hes complaining about counting a couple quarters. Anyway, im talking too much. Basiclly, i kno you may be pissed and a little smarter than most people but you gotta not show it.
I have been making great gains in the spirituality department. I wish it were easier or easy to be frank. sometimes it is true though I try to deny it, my illnesses take over my life. I can be pretty tired sometimes. Fatigued. It's the curse…but it's the only thing that slows me down. I am, have been, will always be a doer. I never want to come home…and it's not that I don't love the nourishment of the idea of home. Yes, perhaps it's r/t my childhood experiences. But also, my moon is in Sagittarius~wanderlust, restlessness…a need to move about. The irony is that one day…soon?…I may be wheelchair bound. There are those that still travel a tremendous amount even in a wheelchair…but with my ego and my fatigue, it would take a bunch of foot soldiers cheering me on to do it. And funny, but in life, there are these foot soldiers. But my root tends towards the negative. In my life, I have proven to myself time and time again that there are such great people out there…but back to the root. It shades your every moment. Fight as you might, the root wins. Hypnosis can possibly change the root. Psychotherapy~Freudian~3xwk with a serious therapist who challenges your every false belief and weakness~that can do it. Yes, that was expensive and I could only do it for a couple of years before the anxiety of spending the money got to me. I am not fearless~that may have been at the bottom of the mess, me. But there are some healthy fears….too…
Fresco was in my arms at the time of his death. The Vet with the holes at the big toes of her sullied, worn white boat shoes kneeled on the mattress moved to my office where my baby slept. He bore a moment of pain at which time I begged Fresco to relax into the shot meant to subdue him. The Vet said she was more worried about me than Fresco. At times like these you only think thoughts like, “fool.” Slowly he eased into the transition…I held him and cried and prayed. His breath became slower and slower, I pet him so gently as any mother would. He wanted to stay alive so badly. It was a great gig. He took over my office and my life most intensely in the last 3 weeks of his. God, how I miss him. But his frail body, loose watery stools which would not respond to any further treatments, convinced me that while he didn't know better, I did. I miss him like hell. I can't get my get up and go yet.
Pietro is with that goddamned breathing shit. Thank God I switched back to my old homeopathic Vet. Somehow I believe, she and I will always be linked…we are both “crazy.” I love these two kittens. They are ruining my messy apartment making it more messy making me clean my messy apartment. Thank god for small favors! I am handling aggressive, angry people who acost me a lot better. Taoist style. It's a remarkable ability to have for a hot head like me. I am full of love, but resentments too.
