waverunners for sale
Anyone know where to get a cheap wave runner?
My daughters 13th birthday is coming up and she has decided that she just has to have a wave runner! I really am not going to spend 10,000 dollars on a new one so does anybody know where I could get a decent priced one? By the way we are in Charlotte NC
Craigslist has some for sale. Charlotte.craigslist.org is the site for your area -- go under the boats section. I always narrow the search by typing in search terms like "PWC", "personal watercraft", "jet ski", "jet", "wave runner", "waverunner", etc and see what's out there.
I've bought all 3 of my watercraft off of craigslist. www.nadaguides.com provides the blue book value of watercraft if you want to make sure you're not getting ripped off. Good luck and be safe.
By the way, you may want to check your state's requirements for allowing your 13 year old to drive the jet ski. There may be an age requirement as well as a class that would have to be taken.
