wakeboard Boat
"Draft" on a ski and wakeboard boat?
i am looking at the specs on a ski and wakeboard boat. does anyone know what that means of refers to? thanks
On a Ski boat the draft is how much water is required to float the boat and clear the drive (propeller), so even-though the hull might only be 14 inches in the water at the stern, an I/O stern drive would require almost 30" of clearance. So the draft would be 2FT. 6 inches. I think you will note that the draft will only vary a few inches, from boat to boat.

Ever jump a boat?
How fast does a boat have to go to be able to wakeboard behinde it ?
My boat goes 32mph and I was wondering if that was fast enough to wakeboard behind. Also how fast does the boat have to go to wakeboard behind it.
general speeds for wake boarding range between 18-23 mph. small kids slower still.
