Tugboat Ocean Towing
What is it like working on a tugboat? Are you gone for days or is it just a day job?
It could be a "day" job or it might be longer term, where you are away for a few days to a few weeks. In many cases, you live on the tug even if it's a harbor tug. Sort of like firemen, who sleep at the fire station when on duty. That's because you have to be available at odd times.
There are "tow boats" that are constantly moving barge traffic up and down rivers, streams and bay's. There are even some ocean going tugs, that could go almost anywhere.
