Supercharged Trailer
Want to trade in 08 Range Rover Sport for another towing vehicle? What's more a fit?
I have a 08 Range Rover Supercharged and I'm currently getting 8-10mpg, I'm looking to get rid of it and get a towing vehicle with better gas mileage. I need to tow about 6,000 pounds, race car+trailer. I'm looking to get at least 15mpg when I'm driving without towing...the range will only give me 8mpg usually.
I'm looking around a pickup trucks and SUVs, something with luxury but not over the top. Do you guys have any recommendations?
I don't know anything about big trucks, but I know a guy with a Dodge Cummings turbo disel or something like that(biggest engine they have, crew cab, dually) and he gets 20-22 mpg highway and mins out at like 12 in real heavy traffic. and he carries over 3,000 pounds daily and heavier once in a while. But the suggestion of a suburban would work too.
