What are some good real estate books?
I'm looking to start investing in real estate and I've read some good books. What are some more books on wholesaling real estate, or any real estate books in general?

That's my husbands first name! There are MANY books on investing in real estate and real estate in general. One REALLY important thing to remember: You can never learn experience. You have to get it. What you are doing when you read these books is learning small tips from others experiences. The only way to really learn the real estate investing business is to stop reading and get out there and buy soem property. My husband did flips, rentals etc. Did all the work himself and learned alot. We still have rental properties. THATS how you learn about it.
You also ned to assemble a team. You need at the least: A professional Realtor well educated in investment properties (no, not all Realtors know about investments, but most will tell you they do). A real estate attorney (same experience as above). A professional property inspector (Just because you know there are problems going in doesn't mean you shouldn't have a pro look at it. He may save you thousands of $$ up front). Liscensed contractor contacts ie: plumbers, electricians, roofers, foundation co., flooring installers, painters etc. Even if you want to do all the work yourself sometimes you simnply won't be able to handle it.

3. Real Estate Investment 6th Edition- John P Wiedemer
4. Barron's Keys To Investing In Real Estate 3rd Edition- Friedman & Harris
5. Real Estate Investing/ Flipping/ Managing For Dummies all 3- Latest Edition
General real estate books we like:
1. How To Buy A Home Without Getting Hammered- David Weekly (nice guy if you get to meet him)
2. Real Estate For Dummies- Latest Edition
3. 2 Years to a Million in Real Estate- Matthew A. Martinez
General Business books we like:
1. The Power of Focus- Jack Canfield (my husband reads this every 6 months)
2. Little Gold Book of YES! Attitude- Jeffrey Gitomer
3. Beyond the Summit- Todd Skinner
4. The Automatic Millionaire- David Bach
5. Think Like a Champion- Donald Trump (like most Trump books you have to weed through the self praising, but there are great tips)
