Need Help Naming Our Boat?
We have an 18' Starcraft (I know people dont normally name 18' boats but we want to) that we are going to be spending our summer weekends on, just fishing and camping on islands and ocassionaly sleeping on the boat, but we cant seem to come up with a good name. We will be staying on Kipawa lake. ANY Ideas would be great.. Thanks
I was thinking 2 Daze Off would be a cute name as we will only use it on the weekends, wich we get 2 days???

I'm not entirely sure an F18 could hit the kind of “ship” that the pirates use. I mean, I suppose they could strafe it with fire from M61, but I'm pretty sure their missiles couldn't lock on to something so small.
That said, I'm all for randomly strafing fishing boats off the coast of Africa with F18's on the hopes that reported pirates sightings are actually, you know, pirates, and not say poor fishermen.

I don’t think DoD and Washington in general can asses itself honestly. We can void a hollow force but it requires admitting that some of the boogey man scenarios are just that. In the mean time kids with machine guns in fishing boats have quadrupled the number of pirate attack off the Horn of Africa this year. We could save a lot of money if we simply spent smarter and were realistic in our threat assessments.
