Can a 2004 Chrysler Pacifica pull a 185 sport with gas and trailer up a sloped boat ramp?
We are thinking of buying a 2007 185 Sport boat, by sea ray. We have a Chrysler Pacifica that can pull 3,500 Lbs. but with weight of car and trailer it can pull just over 8,000 Lbs. (The car weighs 3,000 Lbs.). Has anybody ever towed a trailer with the Pacifica (Preferably up a ramp)? What are your experiences? Anybody else who thinks they also know the answer but don't have any experience with it, feel free to add a coment too.
It is a front wheel drive and I live in FL, we were definitely going to make sure the trailer has trailer brakes before we buy it.
This would be our first boat and we don't know how steep most ramps get and are just wondering if the wheels are just goin to spin and go absolutely nowhere, thanks. Is there anymore recomendations you have at all? =-)
Is your Pacifica front or all wheel drive? I've experienced numerous slick ramps in my day and the situation could have gotten ugly if I hadn't had four wheel drive OR had been towing a boat that exceeded my tow limit. It could also depend on where your located, for example in MD we have some nasty algea that gets on ramps, whereas during my time in Florida I never experienced a single slimy ramp.
Often a vehicle will be able to tow more than it is rated to, the real issue is whether the brakes can stop both the vehicle and the boat. If you decide to go for it, make sure you have trailer brakes.

Just because woman body builders look strong, doesn't mean they are.

I've played basketball with body builders and they were not that tough.
All the steroids in the world would nto keep women from getting fatally injured playing tackle football with men. That is a dangerous sport.
What if?
Are they trying to make them legal?
They will never be legal. And no, because if they are legal then men would be on them too and it would cancel that whole thing out.
PS muscles build by steroids are very weak and prone to injury. So it would make people weaker in sports after long periods of use.
Also there are women who aren't doped up and look bigger than most men out there, they don't have to be on roids.
Staroid use is not under controled.
If anyone ever allowed the use of steroids at all then I wouldn't be watching sports anymore. Who want's to be a fake? Real men and women do it on their own.
