speed boats for sale
Do you think this is a good deal?
I have my car for sale or would consider a speed boat for swop.
My car is for sale at 9000 euro though at today's market I understand I might only get 8000.
I got an offer an hour ago to swop the car for a 2006 Fletcher Arrowhawk 19 foot, 2.7 litre 2 stroke suziki 200hp engine. Bowrider with removable hard cover up front. One off edition ' pink panther' graphics and pink colour (which I don't like really!).
Boat cost 26k in 2006 and the owner claims it's worth 12,000 euro at todays rate. If it seems to be in good condition and good working order, does this seem like a good deal? Seems like it is to me, but I'm not all that knowlegeable on boats and their value.
Thing is, ideally I was thinking of a speed boat of value 3 to 5 thousand and maybe 4000 cash in exchange for my car because I kinda needed the cash. But if this is a really good deal that I shouldn't miss out on then maybe I'll consider it. Especially if I could make more money back on it later.
values and costs are one thing.if you buy a boat only do it with your heart as later when your throwing pound after pound at it your head will question your actions.
I have a 37 foot power boat for 5 years .Always check and check again everything and look beyond the shine and passion .Find out what words like galvonic corrosion and osmosis mean and get the oils and fuels checked for over burn and impellor water flow......The biggest question is the most important where do i leave it, will it cost me money ,how do i move it and will i us it!!!!ok hats more than 1 question must be the boat ownership making me crazy.
If you can do it they say the happest days of boat ownership are the day you buy and the day you sell.
