How can I keep my truck tires out of the water launching my boat?

I have a 21 foot fishing boat, with a small cabin. I can't seem to get the boat to float off the trailer without getting my truck tires in the water. Any tips or tricks would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

You can do as above or get a trailer that has an extended neck to the hitch. This will allow you to place the boat back deeper without having to get your tires wet.hope that helps.~good luck catchin'.

After reading the articles “Dictatorship Under the Third Reich,” “Early Stages ofPersecution,” and “The First Concentration Camps” I learned a lot about what Hitler’s beliefs were and his reasoning for trying to get rid of the Jews. Some things that I found interesting were that Hitler wanted as many “racialy pure” women to bare as many “Aryan” children as possible. In relation to this I saw a picture of babies being looked over to see who would be adopted to be raised as a German based off of their “Aryan” features. What I also found interesting was that in 1936, when the Olympic games were being held in Garmisch-Partenkirchen and Berlin, the Nazi’s made it look as though nothing was going on there. They “paused” their activities so that their government would not be criticized and would not take away from bringing in international tourists for the Games and for it to be moved to another country due to their doings. One of the final things that I learned and found interesting was that Hitler had established concentration camps even before the Nazi’s came into power. For him to be able to do this even before having full power is mind blowing to me, along with everything else that he was able to do while he had full power. In the 1939-1945 category I read “Ghettos”, “Killing Centers” and “Rescues”. In “Ghettos”, it talks about how the Nazi’s enclosed the Jews in these “ghettos”, forcing them to live in miserable conditions. There were 1,000 ghettos created by the Nazi’s. Some only existed for days, while others lasted for months and even years. Three types of ghettos existed among these; there were closed, open, and destruction ghettos. All of these ghettos were what aided the Nazi’s ability to take control, dehumanitize, and kill a mass number of Jews. “Killing Centers” talks about how the Nazi’s killed over 2,700,000 Jews in their so called “killing centers”. These killing centers were also known as “extermination camps” and “death camps”. The largest killing center was Aushchwitz-Birkenau, which consisted of four gas chambers. Over 6,000 Jews were killed each day in the gas chambers. They were to be kept secret and were camouflaged in order to disguise the millions that were murdered there. Finally, “Rescues” talks about how the Jews were rescued and how many people from every European country risked their lives in order to save the Jews from Hitler and the Nazi’s. One of the most famous rescues is one where 7,200 Jews were brought to Sweden by Danish fisherman who brought them to safety in small fishing boats. Rescuers came from every religious background, class, and the U.S. Though even with all of those who tried to save the Jews there were still millions killed in this mass murder. After reading all three of these articles I am in shock to how much Hitler was able to get away with and how much planning he was able to do in order to make it all be possible. I feel so sorry for the Jews who had to live through what they did and I still do not understand how so many people could have no problem killing another human being in all of the ways that they did. After reading about the “Postwar Trials”, I learned that trials were held by the Allied powers to punish all of the war criminals and all who committed crimes against Jews. During these trials, the Allied powers charged all war criminals with “charges of crimes against peace, war crimes, and crimes against humanity, and conspiracy to commit such crimes.” Some were sentenced to death while others were sentenced to life in prison and anywhere from 10 to 20 years in prison. I believe in the case of the Holocaust that people should be held accountable for their actions taken during war. People should not be able to kill and enslave just because of a person’s religion and beliefs.

RT Lake Windsor in Bella Vista drawn down. No boat ramps open. Bass fishing excellent by bank fishing or fishing from small boats.

Lizzie Anthony May 3, 2011 at 2:06 am

The sections that I read through and looked at were really shocking and upsetting. To think that someone could actually think and along with get others to follow their lead to mass murder millions of people just because they are different is terrible. The fact that he thought that he was actually helping the world is crazy. Hilter and other Nazi leaders made many formal laws to their Nazi group about having to restrict laws for Jews and kill them. Many Jews felt the effects of more than 400 decrees and regulations that restricted everything having to do with their public and private lives. Some of their restrictions were that Jews were not allowed to marry or have any sexual relations with anyone that was of German blood. Surprisingly during the Olympics that were being help, the Nazi’s began to lessen their actions and take down many signs that had to do with their anti-Jew thoughts. They did this because Hitler did not want international critisism of his government to move the games somewhere else. On November 9 and 10, 1938 also known as Kristallnacht,”Night of Broken Glass”, was a night when Germans ran though the streets of Germany destroying windows of synagogues, homes, and Jewish-owned businesses. After reading the article about the Euthanasia Program I was really confused on how someone could actually kill people because they were disabled. To make the Aryan race stronger, Hitler dictated to the staff of many German hosptitals to report to him if a infant or child under the age of 3 showed any signs that may indicate that they are mentally or physically disabled. If he found that they were, he would have the nurses and doctors tell the parents that they should send their children into hospitals for the disable , which were actually killing wards. He would kill them by either starvation or by overdose of medicine. He later increased the age and began to kill older patients with mental or physical disabilities. This was just the beginning to the mass genocide that would happen later on. Ghettos were city districts were Jews were forced to live in. Many cities like Frankfurt, Rome and Prague had ghettos for the Jews to stay in. The Germans began the establishment of ghettos as a measure to control and segregate Jews while the Nazi leadership discussed options the goal of removing the Jewish population for the “Final Solution”. Many Germans attacked and destroyed ghettos, killing many Jewish people and put them inside of mass graves. Others were taken and forced to work in concentration camps. The Germans ordered Jews living in ghettos to wear identifying badges or armbands and also required many Jews to perform forced labor for the German Reich. These ghettos were the first step for the Nazi’s to gather and mass murder Jews. Many other European countries of many different religious backgrounds risked their lives to help save the Jewish people during the Holocaust. There were many individuals that would go and save the Jewish people and there were also many groups that were made too. If any of these people were caught while trying to rescue, there were many consequences and reprocusions. At one point, Germans were going to go into Denmark and deport all Danish Jews. On the night of October 1-2, 1943, with the help of many non-Jewish people, all the Jews found out this information. Many of the Danish Jews went into hiding that night. Throughout the next couple of days, the Danish resistance organized a rescue operation.Danish fishermen secretly ferried about 7,200 Jews out 7,800 in small fishing boats, to safety in neutral Sweden. Also the US began to help in the rescue and brought many Jews to the United States and gave them a safe place to stay. This was the first glimmer of hope during this devastating time of the Holocaust. Many high powered leaders during the Holocaust were put on trial for being war criminals. They were tried for crimes against peace, war crimes, and crimes against humanity, and conspiracy to commit such crimes. Twelve of the people that were convicted were sentenced to death, three were sentenced to life in prison, and four to prison terms ranging from 10 to 20 years. Yes, i do believe that people should be held accountable for their actions taken during the war. These people killed millions of Jews and some others just because they thought that there race was more superior to theres. They should not get away with the murder of these Jews.

You are right on S_M_C! While fishing from a boat adds endless possibilities to the fishing game, most boaters you see are casting TOWARDS the shoreline!

My biggest bass ever was caught (and released)while bank fishing with a 3/4 oz spinnerbait slow-rolled along the bottom of a creek channel. A true trophy 16.2 lb Florida strain implanted into a small sized Texas impoundment that receives very little fishing pressure. That was in June 2001. If that fish is still alive it could be pretty big by now. I'd like to go catch her again!

Mark Pietrzak August 4, 2011 at 4:49 am

post it on tradingpost, or find a boat there similar to your boat so that you'll have an idea how much would you ask for it.
