small aluminum boat
Sealing small pinholes in bottom of aluminum boat ?
I have an older aluminum boat, like most its been dragged on ground alot over the years, and has a few small pin hole leaks in the hull - someone suggested JB Weld - would that be the best sealant to use, or is there some other compound thats even better, based on experience? Thanks for the advice.
I would use an epoxy solution.

Every boat I have owned has had a 1 1/2" thick transom if used for an outboard, regardless of the size of the outboard. Check out a chunk of "LDL" from your local homebuilding supply. You can get them in different widths from 8" to 24".
