ski boats for sell
can you give me details on how to charge a jet ski battery?
weve had a boat but we sold it 5 years ago.
then we got a jet ski just last year.
its a kawasaki and we took the battery out for the winter and we need to charge it. do you have any advice?
were complete newbies still on jetskiis.
i know it sounds simple but just to be safe...
The safest way to do it is to pickup a battery charger from a place like West Marine. They cost about $100. These are fully automatic devices that first test the battery to see if they can hold a charge, and then they charge the battery up without the risk of overcharging it.
I've included a link below that might help. In general, you probably have a sealed gel type battery, and if you've had it out of the jet ski and stored somewhere warm (in your house/garage) you should be in good shape. However, if the battery has stayed uncharged for a long time it's more than likely that it won't hold a charge and you'll have to get a new one.
These little portable charges are really great and they'll save you a lot of money on new batteries over the lifetime of your jet ski.

I had several friends who had ski boats and lived in the Clear Lake area. . We used to put in at the Egret Bay Rd boat ramp under the bridge and boat across Clear Lake to Taylor Lake, Nasa Rd 1 also has a boat ramp but can get crowded on weekends. if the waves were to big there continued further north under Red Bluff Rd to the smoother waters which also had a slalom course. Would also sometimes go to Lake Conroe.
Just recently read about this somewhere (sorry I don't remember where). While the state wants you to believe that it affects your driving record, the truth is that the way the states laws are written, it shouldn't. When challenged, the states ALWAYS back down and remove the points from the driving record!
Thanks. I'll look into the Olympus. It goes diving? Hmmmm . . . I might consider that. I dive (occasionally), and I've been meaning to look into a dive camera. If it's fast enough, it might kill two birds with one stone.
The jetski's havent been much of a problem yet. They displace so little water that, even though they tear up and down the river, they don't kick up much wake. As long as they don't actually HIT me, they're less of a problem than the giant, oblivious ski boats.
