Whats the best resort to stay at in KEY WEST, FL?
I have two teenagers and a child, and we are looking for a nice quality resort with laot of action, and tons of things to do around liek boating, fishing, jet skiing etc. with a nice pool and all around great resort. Price does not matter.
Can someone please help me out here.

Im looking for a boat. Any help?
I live in Houston so it has to be close... and it needs to be a ski boat for the kids. it needs to have at sitting space for 6-8 and be nice. Our price range is about 10,000 to 13,000. any help please.
If you are going to be a first time boat owner, get a highly experienced boater friend to walk you through the buying process. If possible, also have him come to the first couple of choices you go to check out.
This is not like shopping for an automobile, there is a LOT more that has to go in the screening/selection process.
There is a lot of hidden things that a used boat can have wrong with it that starts at $1,000 to fix and the sky can be the limit to repairs. Thus, this experienced boater friend should walk you through the inspection process of boats on the first couple of boats.
Always bring a notepad with you to document boat inspection information and comments. This allows you to compare all of the choices in detail at home. Never make a buying decision or test drive decision when first looking at the boats, this is a HUGE no no.
When you've explored looking at all the likely choices, its time to go home and compare the data that you wrote on the notepad. Go over this with the experienced boater and get your spouse's view as well. (if married).
Now, you've should have downselected to about 2 to 3 boat choices or less. Its OKAY to have Zero choices, if all of them are bad then wait until something pops up for sale that is what you might want. Never rush the boat buying process, get what's best for you, not buying a quick solution.
Now, if you've selected 1 or more to pursue farther, its test drive time.
You need to arrange for a test drive. If they offer to run it on the hose and show you, that's not good enough. However, if necessary a test drive CAN be skipped if not possible.
A test drive is all business, you are there to be familiar with the specific boat's setup and properly test the boat's performance.
If you are new to boat operating, this is NOT the time to learn how. You need get the proper training and experience before doing test drives, bring an experienced boater friend with you if necessary.
A boat should do the following on the test drive:
When applying cold start procedure, it should start without excessive attempts to get it running.
When warmed to operating temperature, the engine should not stall out and die.
It should accelerate smoothly and respond quickly to throttle commands.
The engine should not cut out at any time during changes in throttle.
The boat should shift into gear smoothly and quickly with no excessive noise.
Vibration should be a minimum or none.
Make sure to take notes on the test drive results and think it over at home. This is still not the time to make an offer or a deal, you should think it over at home with your test drive data on the notepad.
Next, whether test drive or not, you must require an inspection of the boat's drive system at the BUYERS expense (you) by a certified marine service shop to verify its operating condition.
This is something you do not budge on, used boats have no lemon law protections, so if the drive system is screwed up and you buy it, tough luck.
Finally, if you do make an offer and are going to buy a boat, here is the rules you do NOT break.
Make sure trailer title and registration is present
Make sure boat title and registration is present (some states boats do not have titles)
Owner of boat must be present at the transaction
Verify boat owner name on title/registration matches with their photo ID
Make sure there are no liens still on the boat or trailer title
Get a simple written bill of sale from the owner

You know I get terribly seasick too – although I have to say that ski boats are fine as long as I am looking forward.
