What's the most popular place to visit at South Island, New Zealand?
and..
what is it like riding the shotover jet boat and the luge?
I being a kiwi would say that the most popular place to visit in the South Island would be Queenstown for sure, especially in the winter, its like a party town and soooo beautiful. In the summer its a little bit more quiet but still so beautiful with heaps of things to do, like the shotover jet ( which is wicked fun by the way) bunjy jumping etc. You can also take a tour to the Milford Sound, where you take a cruise of a boat and watch dolphins and all the marine life and just soak up the beauty.
Another place would be Kiarora as from there you can go whale watching.
Christchurch is the biggest city in the South Island, so thats worth a few days as well.
At this time of the year being summer, you need to go to Nelson, at the top of the south Island, its nice and hot with amazing beaches.
