Frankly I would expect to pay a lot less than that if I were going to buy a boat right now. With the economy the way it is and the high cost of gas, the number of people boating has sunk to all time lows.
Additionally, the boating season is over. That is about what I seen that boat going for 6 or 8 years ago. You should be able to swing a boat like that for a lot less now.
So too, I don't know the kind of boating that you are going to do so it may be ok, but a single 350 in a 27' is on the very low end of power needed. Sea Rays are awesome boats, but the fact that it is 20 years old, I would want to have the boat surveyed before purchasing. I good surveyor can save you a lot of money. If you are dead set on the boat, have it surveyed. Without a doubt a good surveyor will find things that he doesn't like (doesn't mean necessarily that the boat is bad), you can use his survey and his findings to barter down the price.
