how do i go about getting a job on a yacht or a sailboat?
I graduated college two years ago and havent done anything. I want to travel. I want to get a job on a yacht or a sailboat and sail around the world. Anyone know anyway how to do this. I have no experience on a boat.
Most people who work on board private yachts and sailboats have maritime certifications following education at maritime academies and certification tests, while some others have considerable experience with the US Navy or US Coast Guard. Those who work in the kitchens generally have been educated in culinary schools or have worked successfully in very fine restaurants. The few people with nor formal qualifications or experience are often family members or relatives of the owners of the yachts and sailboats.
