reinell boats
Does a boat have to be running for the steering to work?
21 foot reinell with omc motor and power steering can't turn the drive with the boat not running should the drive turn anyway with out the motor running. No problem with streering cable works good. Do you know if this system have to have the motor running to work. Thanks
Basically yes it should be running. Is there a problem with it when the engine is running?

Anyone know where to find wiring schematics for 1987 reinell boat with an OMC engine?
The factory OMC manual. It might be hard to find try ebay.
