ranger bass
Is it better to put 10 or 12 inch subwoofers in a standard cab ford ranger?
im looking at kenwood packages one for 12s with a 1200 watt amp and one for 10s with a 1000 watt amp. im not sure which would be better. i've heard 10s hit harder and 12s carry farther. i'd really like some good bass and people to be able to hear me before they see me if you know what i mean.
i would say go with the 10's ,if u dont u may run into the problem of not having egnough leg room ,from where u will have to compensate for the box with the 12's, 10's are good size subs for a regular cab truck,if u buy a quality set of subs 10's will have people hearing u as well as u having adequate room for ur legs,i've done this same set-up for many different trucks and i will always recommend the 10's ,keep in mind (if u have some cash) to spare, shallow mount subs are very nice for this peticular type of arrangement.

Soloman FYI on Stilletto background. At one point in time the SOCOM boat folks had an RFI out for a ship which could transport a platoon plus of SEALS at high speed and debark them in AO. The M Ship company with some congressional help submitted the M80 Stiletto. The boat was tested and rejected by SWCCs (our Navy's professional warboat drivers).
While touted as transformational there is not much other than the electronics which is new and the minimal weapons makes it more of a boston whaler than a proven CB-90.
Then M-Ship shopped their boat around and got a few R&D type tests and a couple of short term missions (not from the Navy).
All the rest about this plastic can is PR hype IMHO.
CBD I would guess the stern recovery ramp is NOT personnel rated system?
There is already several US versions of the CB-90 being driven by new riverines and called the Riverine Command Boat. Although I would call them the Riverine Combat Boat!
see what sony recommends and also you should use 3/4 inch mdf(medium density fiberboard ) instead of particle board it will make a much better box.
