To open a can, position the rim of the can in between the blade and the metal gear. The metal gear guides the rim of the can through the can opener so it moves in a full 360° circle by itself. 3: Battery compartment The new Bangrui can opener is completely different from the original design in appearance. Moreover, it is designed with a plastic sheet in the battery cartridge, which further stabilizes the batteries installed. 4: On/off switch The simple one-touch button couldn’t be easier to operate. Simply press down to begin cutting the can, then press again at any time to stop the action. 5: Magnet When you lift the can opener off the can, the magnet on the BangRui Automatic Can Opener will also pick up the lid. I was very excited to receive this silicon cutting board after I read all the positive reviews. And it got delivered earlier than I expected so I was super happy until I opened the box. As you can see in one of the pictures, the brand name is not SM Health Kitchen but iNeibo Kichen. WHAT? I saw that brand before I purchased SM one. Although it was a lot cheaper than SM Health Kitchen product, I still decided to pay more and get SM one. And they decided to send me cheaper one for whatever reason. I still don't understand why they sent me the product from a different company.. In addition to that, there are these white spots forming even after I washed it well. I tried to get them off with hot water and soap, NOT WORKING. And I only used it ONCE. I'm very disappointed and not satisfied with my purchase of this at all. I'm returning this for sure.

I was pleasantly surprised by this cutting board.

Pros

I love the vibrant color.

It is very thick and durable, with a nice weight to it.

The size is very comfortable. It is not too big. It fits in my dishwasher and in my sink. I can also easily store it in my cabinet.

The material is soft and provides a good grip in the counter and on our wooden table. I have yet to try it on a glass table, but I see no reason why it wouldn't be just as good.

After chopping, I could bend the board so that the chopped items would go into the pan. I think it was the first time I ever didn't miss (my dogs were disappointed though).

There is a small moat around the border of the board that collects liquid. It is relatively small but can hold several tablespoons of liquid.

Cutting on this board was very nice. It was soft on my wrists and cutting was very smooth.

Cons
Sometimes when water gets under the board, it sticks almost too well to any smooth surface. This isn't exactly a con, just don't be clumsy (like me) and pull it so hard you drop half your chopped onion on the floor (the dogs wouldn't help clean that up).

The moat area that is supposed to catch the juices is a little thin, so you do want to make sure no tomato seeds get stuck in there.

Overall, I am very pleased to welcome this to my kitchen and know it will get plenty of use.

And I love the pastry brushes :)

Nice cutting board. Purchased based on reviews and site details on how safe it would be for food prep. I have had it for a week and immediately washed it as recommend. It has no smell of any kind, labels claimed it to be food grade silicone, which I have every reason to believe. It has a good feel to it although slightly thicker than I thought it would be. Flexibility is good yet not overly too flexible. It can be bent in half to give you an idea how flexible it is. It unbends itself to its original shape and will lay flat. Washes up nicely and can be stored upright without bending. Holds its shape very well and the small grip with the hole on the side can be useful. Purchased the green version and I have every reason to believe it can handle years of heavy usage. I especially like being able to use it on my tiled island. Does not slip or slide and it can be banged around without any damage to it or whatever it makes contact with. Can't go wrong with this cutting board. Would I recommend it, absolutely!

This is unfortunate because it was so nice to have something flexible where I could fold it and easily transfer items into bowls or the skillet without a mess.

It could be whatever they use for the green dye though as everything else I have ever ordered is white or dark red.

I actually leave it out, because I use it every day. But...the best thing about it is it's flexibility. After chopping simply pick up the board and bend it so you can drop the chopped items right into your bowl or pan. I'm fastidious about keeping my kitchen clean - I clean as I go - so this feature is enormously helpful because it significantly eliminates dropped bits on the counter or floor. Funnily enough, I was not in the market for a cutting board. I was looking for pastry brushes, and thought this deal was too good to pass up. And...yes, by the way the pastry brushes are great too!
