Two table tops are offered, rectangular or octagonal shapes, both are molded from high-impact plastic for durability and resistance to sun, salt water and cleansers.     This table is NOT bright white but white ...our boat is older so it was fine it is just a little off white not cream colored though cup cut outs are very shallow and fit in only a soda can not bottled water but otherwise it is a great surface

I take them down and store them our of the way while not in use. While up they are plenty sturdy. I did however go with the in floor recessed base instead of the ones that came with the table like the picture shows.
