poontoon boats
A operating manual for 1989 Fish-fun poontoon boat?
Any and all manuals available. This for a Grumman Fun/Fish boat.
Wow 19 hrs to go and no answers.
Would go to grumman web site and get an address.
The problem with pontoon boats is they are so simple and safe that all the rental places on the lakes use them for tourists. This means "anybody" can run one with no experience whatsoever. You just put in the key and don't fall between the pontoons while under way!(makes the fish taste funny)
Your real question should be how to take care of what ever motor you have on it, or maybe "what should I do to my trailer to keep it going?"
They do have some issues - like one pontoon may have some water in it. If they have a hard top, you get quite a cross drift coming back to the dock. (all the dock boys will bet on weather you make your slip or not.)
An operating manual would be 2 pages at the most. I mean its 2 tubes with a piece of plywood across them.
In their defense, they are the greatest family boat you can get.
The big ones can pull water skiers, and they have expanded the definition to include big fiberglass boats with inboards and a flat front deck.
I just wish I had a Grumman Fun Fish boat and didn't live in the middle of this desert.
