Buying a private island?
Can anyone find a island for sale that is located away from any territorial water of any state that has full privacy ,simply a island that doesent belong to any state or nation ?
No. All landmasses have been claimed by one country or another. Antarctica is divided among several nations by treaty.
The Principality of Sealand was for sale a few years ago. It is claimed to be an independent nation. However, no other nation recognizes it as a nation. It seems to be comprised of a floating pontoon base with a superstructure of two hollow towers joined by a deck upon which other structures can be added, and it seems to have been the source of several odd get rich quick schemes. I don't know what's left there after yearly storms.
