Bought a 14ft. Aluminum Boat-needs a paint job(old dingy paint)-how do I approach this?
My son is doing the same thing. His father said to get it sand blasted to get the paint off.

Can you apply Aluminum grade paint, for a boat, with something other than a spraygun??
Do you paint a boat trailer the same as you would an aluminum boat?
You can brush or spray any paint. The key is in the prep work (cleaning and sanding).
If you don't mind some brush strokes, that'll work fine.
I bought a VW bug years ago that had been painted the same color as the previous owners house.......wuth the same paint.......with a roller! It suited me just fine!
