Open bow ski
what would be a better boat to buy?
A 1993 Ski Nautique Open Bow with 800 hours or a 1996 Ski Centurion Sport that is not an open bow but only has 350 hours. I know Ski Nautiques are great boats and are consider top of the line, but the Ski Centurions are also a very good boat especially newer with less hours. The things I am considering, I like the open bow on the Nautique, but I am concerned about it only being 19 feet long. Usually open bows are 21 feet. The Centurion I am looking at is a 21 foot long boat but it is closed bow and doesn't have as much space. Also, the hours on the Nautique is 800 vs. the Centurions 350. But the beam on the Nautique is 4 inches wide. The price is the same 8000. Just curious if anyone has some opinions about these boats. Thanks.
All things being equal I would take the lower hours on the newer boat. That being said you have to pick the one that suits your needs.
My boat is a 1999 with no problems related to age.

Dear Future Fourth Grader,
This fall we were working with Steven Ratiner on Chinese poetry. The first workshop we wrote poems at the river walk.
The second workshop we wrote journey poems about an object that we either brought in or an object that Steven brought in. Steven brought in a crystal that looked like a rock on one side, but on the other it was a crystal. He had a singing bowl made out of crystal too. The third workshop was a memory poem about an event that happened big or small, sad or happy, basically anything you want. The third one was Chinese painting. That was my favorite workshop because I like painting art and it was fun doing something different and holding the brush in a different way.
From the workshop I learned some people in China live like they did in ancient China, but many people also live in big modern cities. Also 50% of the people are farmers. Steven taught us a lot this year like to be open bow. It means noticing everything around you. I can’t wait until the next time we have a workshop with Steven.

Yeah I agree that there is a lot of dialogue. But it's good dialogue so if you just added a bit more descriptions it would be even better. Not too much description though because it's already very good. It was also very interesting. I'd love to know exactly what Rodney agreed to!
Our family travelled by Greyhound in 1936 from Montreal to Gray Creek, British Columbia, Canada. We stopped over for a day in Minniapolis,June 2, my 8th birthday. My dad arranged my birthday treat – visiting the Greyhound Service Centre in Minniapolis.We changed to Washington Motor Coach from Fargo to Spokane, on buses that had “The Northern Short Route” emblazoned on the sides. We changed back to Greyhound for the Spokane – Gray Creek trip.Gray Creek is the only place in the world where a sternwheeler carried a daily Canadian Greyhound coach from 1931 to 1947 – balancing that Central Canadian Greyhound very carefully across the open bow of the boat, for its 12 mile trip across Kootenay Lake. I hope to visit the museum in Hibbing, as I am working on a book about Greyhound.
