ocean yachts for sale
I live in Chesapeake, VA & have decided to buy a boat.?
The boat will be used in salt water, the bay, the ocean (just barely!) and the intracoastal waterway. I'm interested in a sport style boat but there are so many to pick from! Any advice on boats or where I can find some "consumer reports" type reviews on boats? The real consumer reports doesn't seem to do boats. Also, what exactly is the difference between "flat bottom" & "center console" boats versus a more sporty style boat? Pro's & con's to either one? Thanks for any advice!

Auction went fairly well we sold some 175 items .
Some items went for silly prices like a Garmin Chartplotter with charts £20:00 Sailor DSC VHF £5:00 Walker log little used completer with spare rotor ,all nicely boxed £30:00 etc etc etc . Some 20 to 30 persons were bidding all must have secured a bargan.
Since my last auction of some 15 years ago, the quality of items for sale has improved .However ,the number of members attending has significantly reduced.
We made a bit for the Club and the RNLI.
Again many thanks to all the members and committee who assisted with this event .
It was nice to see a good attendance on a Sunday lunchtime ,I hope the bar made a bit as well.
We still have two cruising yachts for sale and a really good wind vane steering gear which would suit the long distance cruiser!!!!!

Since you have a bill of sale ask DMV to run a registration check on it. That will tell you who own the car and if it is stolen. Be sure to include not only the license of the car, but V.I.N. as well. If the car is stolen or a bank has title to the car, the seller committed fraud. You could also ask the police department to do the same. If the car is stolen you will have covered yourself and you can make out a report at the same time. The car will be impounded at that time. If the car title is in the name of the bank, you will have other options, but you will most likely loose the car unless the seller comes up with the cash to pay the bank off.
