Do you need parental permission to join the Marine Corps?
I was just wondering if it is the same for women and men that if you are 18 you do not need parental permission. Also, i was wondering how to get my parents to agree with my decision to join the Marines. I still have 3 years because i am still in high school but i need to prepare them for when we talk about college and my future. I am a female and my mom and dad aren't keen on me joining but i think the corps builds a mentally and physically strong individual. Also I think the values they distill in you last for a lifetime. college can wait.
if you are 1 no you dont need parental permission just explain to them that it will prepare you for college and they will also pay for it and you are an adult and can make life decisions that make you happy not them
