Z308 Mariah 2001, Volvo-Penta Twin 305 - What propeller should we buy?
The boat is 31 feet and weighs approx. 8000lbs and cruises approx 45 mph. We will be using to cruise so we want something that will be quick out of the water and still perform well for long trips. We need the make and pitch. We have Twin Volvo-Penta 305 SX drive. Are stainless steel props worth the price?
Please tell us 1) what you plan to do like ski---tube---ride around. 2) Plan to re-prop both sides or port/starboard 3) or you asking brand or type like S/S or brass etc.
I believe it is recommended for stainless as well as all that is available for that set-up. !6-19 pitch but all depends how loaded you are in general or average trip. It may be sluggish on 1 trip comparatively because you may be loaded more than last or next trip. My boat was recommended to use 1 size prop as well ass particular pitch. Do you have manuals? Might suggest for above average forALL uses. Oh Yeah, Michigan Wheel props as well as Volvo-Penta.

Spend time on the water. Find Ski / Wakeboarding Boats cheap in eBay. Buy it.
Just recently read about this somewhere (sorry I don't remember where). While the state wants you to believe that it affects your driving record, the truth is that the way the states laws are written, it shouldn't. When challenged, the states ALWAYS back down and remove the points from the driving record!
