leaky aluminum boat
Jon boat problems?? Any ideas?
So I recently got a 14 foot aluminum Jon boat for free. It has about 8 leaky rivets and two small breaches in the hull. If the holes were repaired, could I use bedliner to seal the boat?? Or other ideas
You need holes repaired and rivets replaced. Bed-liner will not hold back water for long - it is not a fix.

One wonders if temporary repairs means “duct tape”. Seems odd that Rachel Marie would need hull repairs so soon after the last ones. I seem to recall that the corrosion of aluminum boat hulls in salt water means these boats are nearing the end of their service life…
