Cheap/Free fun things to do with your spouse?
My husband and I would like more QUALITY time together. Our quantity of time is fine, but we find ourselves bored and would like more interesting things to do. On the weekends, we pretty much are always just playing poker (we are pretty serious card players), watching movies at home, or at the drive in.
Any suggestions on what we can do that is free or cheap as a married couple OR with our 8 year old for more fun together?

I actually like sports more than my husband. 
He loves basketball, but I'm a football girl. I take over the TV during football season haha.
have been with my partner for 5 yrs..
we do something different every weekend.
we only watch movies or dvd's if there is a movie we really want to watch. other than that we hardly do the whole movie/dvd thing because we are always doing different things every weekend. we normally do these things below on a reg/rotational basis
canoeing
cooking classes *this was really fun* we do it regularly including chocolate making classes... yummmmm... **
driving to places that are a few hours drives/ beaches etc
trying out different bars/clubs and resturants all around the city. example.. if we tried one restaurant and bar 2 weeks ago.. we'd try a different restaurant and bar this time.
photographing each other... this can be sexual.. non sexual or sexy photos.. lol have found this reallly fun by doing gr8 poses in the mirror and taking each others pictures and pictures together using a stand. the photos often turn out really professional looking because we see how it looks in the mirror first. weve also done pictures outdoors and on the beach.
doing stuff together like going to gym together, getting massages together.... getting a facial together.
build something together like some crafts.. i have done pottery with each other.. its very fun.
things like jetboating,jetsking,hanggliding etc. they start at $30 for renting a jetboat and jetskii's etc to abit more pricey for hang-gliding.
my favorite.. GO TO THE BEACH..and have some cocktails by the beach...

make out.. lol i love doing this.
go shopping
go bike-riding , skating
read with each other... my bf and i often read books to each other.. we'd lay in bed or at the beach next t each other and read the books out loud to each other.. lol i know its cute.
learn a language together..
i learnt french with my bf... we took language classes with each other..
u can also take dance classes together... each lesson is normally $10-$15 per person for 1 hour... u can just do it once a week.
go-karting.
anyway those r the things i do with my 5 yr partner.. weve never been bored however we r blessed that we both do not have money restrictions which is why we are able to do nice things on a weekly basis.. so iam sorry if some of these things are abit pricey,
